Welcome to Superior Taekwondo

Are you ready to begin an extraordinary journey of self-discovery and empowerment? Welcome to Superior Taekwondo, Helensville’s premier martial arts club.

Led by Olympian and 3rd-degree black belt Andrea Kilday who also holds an International Level 2 Coaching Licence Superior Taekwondo delivers a world-class training experience built on excellence, passion, and proven expertise.

With over 30 years of experience in the sport, Andrea creates a fun, dynamic, and supportive learning environment where students of all ages and abilities can thrive. Every class is designed to challenge, inspire, and build confidence whether your goal is fitness, competition, or personal development.

Our class schedule caters to everyone. Young children aged 3 to 6 enjoy early evening sessions tailored specifically to their developmental needs, while older students train later in the evening. A full timetable is available on our website, making it easy to find the right class for you or your family.

But Superior Taekwondo is more than just a martial arts club we are a strong, family-oriented community. We foster respect, discipline, resilience, and friendship in a positive and encouraging atmosphere. Through our structured curriculum, students develop not only physical fitness and self-defence skills, but also confidence, focus, and life skills that extend far beyond the mat.

Our Little Legends & Rising Legends Sparring Class is designed for students 10 years old and under who are ready to build confidence, sharpen their skills, and take their training to the next level.
